BlueHeart Energy was founded in 2016 as a deep-tech company that has developed a new sustainable thermoacoustics technology to radically improve the performance of heat pumps, enabling them to evolve from being the best solution in the market to becoming the perfect solution. Our technology is a disruptive approach to generate heat and cold, with potential to revolutionize the whole industry.

With our so called 'Blue Heart' inside, heat pumps turn into affordable, silent and flexible devices, capable of working with wide temperature ranges suitable for both new and existing houses. Importantly, BlueHeart doesn’t require any refrigerants and doesn’t generate any CO2e emissions.

About the Role

Ready to shape the future of clean energy manufacturing? As Manufacturing Team Lead at BlueHeart Energy, you will lead the scaling of our breakthrough thermoacoustic technology from prototype to mass production. This is a hands-on leadership role where you combine technical expertise with team development, set up contract manufacturing, and ensure smooth, efficient operations. This is a full-time, in-office role (5 days per week) at our Heemskerk location. What You’ll Do

• Define and execute the roadmap from prototype to mass production 

• Drive DfM/A and implement process controls for scalability 

• Oversee daily builds, monitor KPIs, and own production quality improvements 

• Qualify and onboard contract manufacturers while keeping in-house readiness 

• Lead by example: coach, motivate, and empower the production team 

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align priorities and solve challenges quickly. 

What We’re Looking For

• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a complex environment 

• Strong technical background in industrialization, NPI, and process optimization 

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and improve processes hands-on 

• Leadership that is clear, respectful, and motivating, with a hands-on approach 

• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and building trust across departments 

• Experience managing contract manufacturers from initial engagement to ongoing performance 

• Dutch language is a strong plus.
